Prayer Life

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)

Before Prayer changes others, it first changes us.
(Billy Graham)

This week we pray that the seeds sown in today’s service about approaches to evangelism will take root and that God will bless the endeavours of Christchurch in this important work.  We pray for our neighbours and for the opportunities to talk with them.

At this time, we are also asked to pray for our nation, our King and royal family, our government and those who lead the local council.  We remember those of our own fellowship who are housebound.  We pray for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party taking place this week.  At Halloween time, we also pray for the safety of young people out in our streets.

We continue to pray for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, this week in particular those with homes in Fox Close and Foxglove Close.
