Please pray for those named in our prayer list on page 14 of the July / August ‘Chronicle’.
In addition, we are asked to pray for groups that meet at Christchurch this week, including Warm Welcome, Keep Fit and the Bible Study group which all take place on Monday. We pray also for our Open the Book team who bring God’s Word into two of our local schools this week.
Remembering the links with the denominations who sponsor our Church, we pray for the officers of the URC as they meet in Christchurch on Wednesday. On a world front, we bring to God the situation in the Gulf, Iran and all countries affected by the conflict and shipping blockades there. We also continue with our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Birdwood Close, Bishops Road and Blaby Close.
