Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
Before Prayer changes others, it first changes us.
(Billy Graham)
Please pray for those named in our prayer list on page 14 of the September ‘Chronicle’.
In addition, this week we are asked to pray for:
- Groups which meet in our Church this week, including the Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Association and Little Angels;
- The pastoral meeting on Monday and the meeting of the Church Council on Wednesday and of the Eco-Team on Friday;
- Our Coffee and Craft Morning on Saturday;
- The Open the Book visits to our two local schools and all the teachers who work there;
- International causes such as World Teachers’ Day on Monday and World Mental Health Day on Saturday.
We also continue with our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Drivemoor, Eagle Way and Fennel Close.
