Please pray for those named in our prayer list on page 14 of the July / August ‘Chronicle’.
In addition, this week we are asked to pray for groups which meet in the Church for the first time after the summer break, including Little Angels and the Boys’ Brigade; we pray too for those who will join the Lunchtime Fellowship and the Communion Service on Wednesday.
We pray for our minister, Peter, as he rests and recovers from his recent operation, asking for God’s blessing on him.
Outside the Church, we are asked to pray this week for Listening Post and the Samaritans counselling services and for all the Mothers’ Union and WI groups that meet in our city.
We also continue too with our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Bullfinch Road, Claridge Close and Curlew Road.
