Please pray for those named in our prayer list on page 14 of the July / August ‘Chronicle’.
Throughout August one of the inspirations for our prayers has been the armour of God, the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. This week, we are urged to equip ourselves with the whole armour of God in our prayer life.
We pray for our families, friends and neighbours, asking that faith and salvation will come to them through hearing the Word of God as it is shared.
We pray for the Royal Family and for our government. We pray for peace throughout the world.
We continue too with our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Bittern Avenue, Boyce Close and Brae Walk.
