Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
Before Prayer changes others, it first changes us.
(Billy Graham)
At this time, we also pray:
- Our local community, specifically shops and businesses in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, our City Council and those with responsibility for the city finances, and the new school that is heading towards completion on the Wheatridge.
- Our own Church fellowship, all who contribute to the running of the Church and those who serve the Church by organising and leading different groups.
- Community groups that use our Church building on a regular basis throughout the week
- All Scouts and Guides in a week when World Thinking Day is marked by Girl Scouts and Girl Guides.
We continue our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Minerva Close, Minster Gardens and Monarch Close.
