June has been identified as a month for of national prayer for toddler groups, their leaders and all families who come into contact with them. We pray for our Little Angels group at Christchurch, those who work hard to ensure it happens each week and the children and carers who attend. We pray for Kidz Club too, asking that more volunteers will step forward to help work with children who come on Sundays.
In our Church prayer diary, we ask for God’s blessing on the shops and businesses that serve the communities of Abbeydale and Abbeymead, our local GP surgeries at Hadwen and Aspen medical centres, and the residents and staff at Woodstock care home and other residential homes in our area. We also pray for all in our national government and for the work of our local MP.
We continue our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Wigmore Close, Windmill Field, Woodbine Close and Youngs Orchard.
