Please pray for those named in our prayer list on page 14 of the July / August ‘Chronicle’.
Throughout August one of the inspirations for our prayers has been the Armour of God, the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. This week, as we spend time reading and meditating on God’s Word, we pray for the gift of persistence. We also ask the Lord to distil wisdom and discernment on our Church as we seek his will and purpose We continue too with our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Barn Close, Basil Close and Berry Lawn.
