Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
Before Prayer changes others, it first changes us.
(Billy Graham)
At this time, we give thanks for the Easter message, rejoicing that Christ is indeed risen, and we pray for the safety of all those on holiday or attending sporting events.
We bring before God the conflict in the Middle East, praying that peace and stability will return to this volatile region. We pray for the Christians in Iran, which is listed as number 10 on the Open Doors world watch list of countries in which Christians face persecution. We pray that governments will have compassion on those who become refugees and asylum seekers because of conflict in their homelands.
We continue our cycle of prayer for all who live in Abbeydale and Abbeymead, especially those with homes in Saturn Close, Seven Acres and Snead Park..
