A local World Day of Prayer service will take place at 10.30am in Upton St Leonards church on Friday 7th March 2025. Everyone is welcome to attend the service.
World Day of Prayer is an international, ecumenical organisation which enables us to hear the thoughts of women from all parts of the world: their hopes, concerns and prayers. The theme is ‘I Made You Wonderful’ and the service was written by women in the Cook Islands in the South Pacific Ocean. These islands have a rich and colourful Maori heritage with a deep connection to nature.
